Request a female driver in Halifax
Personal choice, thoughtfully arranged for local taxi rides and airport journeys.
Your reason is your own
You may prefer a female driver for personal comfort, family travel or simply because that is the choice you want. You do not need to explain that preference to request a ride.
Lady Drive Her welcomes all passengers. A request can be made for yourself or another traveller, with their permission and the right contact details.
How Lady Drive Her works
Lady Drive Her was created by Crissy McDow after repeated requests for female drivers. The service connects passengers with female drivers who are self-employed or work for other transportation companies. It does not describe those drivers as employees of Lady Drive Her.
The team checks your date, route and requirements. Female-driver availability must be confirmed for each journey; an online request is not an instant reservation.
Everyday taxi rides and airport travel
Request a female driver for regular taxi journeys across Halifax and the HRM, as well as trips to and from Halifax Stanfield International Airport. All rides and special vehicle requests are confirmed with you.
Tell us what would help
